Add an HS or HSN code to a product so it prints on the advanced invoice.

Who can use this

Shop owner, Shop Product Manager

The HS or HSN code classifies a product for tax and customs. Your shop stores one code per product.

When the field is shown

HS / HSN code appears on the product form when any of these is true:

Otherwise the field is hidden. A code that is already saved is kept.

Edit the product
Open the product from the Catalogue menu.
Enter the code
In Unit & codes, fill in HS / HSN code. The placeholder shows the format, "e.g. 6109.10". On a product with variants, the field is in the Codes card.
Save
Save the product.

The product CSV has an optional hsn_code column. An empty cell leaves the saved code as it is. See Optional product CSV columns.

The Advanced invoice prints it in the HSN column of the items table. The Basic invoice does not print it.
Product exports include it.
