Show a section only on phones or computers, only between two dates, or only to guests or signed-in customers.
Every section has a Visibility group after its settings. Use it to run a banner for a campaign, to show a different hero on phones, or to greet signed-in customers.
With no rules the group's heading reads "Always, everyone, every device". With rules it sums them up, for example "Mobile only · Customers only".
Select the section, then open Visibility in the settings panel.
Under Devices, both boxes start ticked.

Untick one to hide the section there. The last ticked box cannot be unticked; to hide a section everywhere, use Hide section.
Under Schedule:
Either can be left empty. Clear removes a date. Times are shop time; the note under the fields names the timezone when it is known.
Under Who sees it:

Visibility rules are part of the draft. Publish to put them on your website.
All rules must hold at once. A section set to Mobile (under 768 px), a schedule and Signed-in customers only shows only to signed-in customers, on phones, inside the dates.
In the Sections tab, a section with rules has a small calendar icon after its name.

A hidden section stays hidden whatever its visibility rules say. Visibility applies to whole sections, not to single blocks.
