Where to find itMarketing ToolsGift cards
Before you start
On every plan. Gift cards are on, or your shop has issued at least one card.

You turn this on
Who can use this
Shop owner, Shop Manager
The Gift cards page holds everything about gift cards: the balance you owe, the cards, a form to issue one, and the settings. This page covers the figures and the list.
While gift cards are off, a notice at the top reads "Gift cards are off. Customers cannot buy gift cards or pay with them. Turn them on in the settings below."
1. Outstanding balance
What your active gift cards can still buy. It is money you owe in goods, not revenue.
Tile
What it shows
Amount and "active cards"
The total left on active cards that have not passed their expiry, and how many there are. With none it reads No active cards
"Held by unpaid orders"
Card money set aside for orders still waiting for an online payment. It is taken off the balance already; it is used when the payment arrives, or given back
"On expired / voided cards"
Money on cards that can no longer be used
Expired
Number of expired cards
Voided
Number of voided cards
The two middle tiles appear only when there is something to show.
2. Movements per month
The last 12 months, newest first, in your shop's time zone. Cards sold are never in your sales figures; the orders they pay for are.

3. Search
The search box accepts one of these, typed in full:
the last 4 characters of the code
the recipient's e-mail address or phone number
the number of the order that bought the card
Select Search. A full gift card code is not searchable, and anything else finds nothing. A card that has both an e-mail address and a phone number is found by the e-mail address only.
4. Status filter
All, Active, Voided or Expired.
5. The cards
