Souq is made for food shops and marketplaces. Its theme card describes it as "Bold, warm and Arabic-first. Colour bands, chunky cards and a thumb-friendly tab bar — made for food and marketplaces."

What sets it apart

A bottom tab bar on phones. Home, categories, search, cart and account stay one tap away. You can switch it off.
Display type. Headings use a Display font with heavier weights, up to Black, and an UPPERCASE option.
Arabic headings. Arabic display face sets headings on Arabic pages in IBM Plex Sans Arabic (bold). It is on by default.
One corner setting. Corners replaces separate button and card radius fields. The theme default is Chunky.
Colour bands. The theme starts with five colour schemes, so sections can sit on full-width bands of colour.
Shared catalogue pages. Product, collection, search and cart pages use the same sections as Essence, in Souq's colours and fonts.

Souq has no floating WhatsApp button switch.
